As in the case of our previous collaboration, Hamid and Melissa came from New York and stayed with me during most of the recording process.  This allowed for an inspiring atmosphere of creative exchange between us during that time.  The daily exploration of ideas, unveiling of themes, trying out of new instrument combinations, variations on themes etc, all took shape between bouts of impassioned conversations and around dinner tables. Their friendship and creative vision remain invaluable ingredients to the making of this music.
